Cornell or Corruption: Insight Into International Students
This is a collaborative workshop between several other international students and me. The workshop covers four topics: Why come to the U.S., Cultural Shock, Real Experience, and Media Coverage.
Works Include

Obstacles as international students
We reached out to 50 international students who are currently studying in different parts of the world. We asked them to chose their top three from the list of thirteen obstacles we came up with. The top three results we got, at last, are: hard to assimilate into the local community, food, and stereotype.
Do you know this gesture or symbol?
We came up with a game that asks the audience to guess the gesture or symbols in different countries. Sometimes, a simple gesture can be viewed very differently in different culture.

Duke University
At the beginning of 2019, an issue happened at Duke University became a debatable topic. A professor sent out an email to all Chinese international students that two faculty members complained to her that Chinese students are speaking Chinese in the school, they wanted to write down those students’ name, telling that they won’t have the same opportunity to work in the future project. The school apologized after and remove the professor from the program she was currently in charge of. We had a discussion based on this, most students who participated think it's okay for students to chat outside of class, in their native language.
